The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu, located in the heart of the capital of China’s Sichuan province, is set to open in summer 2013. The 353-room luxury hotel will take its interior design cues from the style of a traditional courtyard home which can be found in parts of the old city. It will feature a palette of light woods, relaxing blues, and golden hues.
Dining options will include an elegant Cantonese with eight private dining rooms; Flair, the sister restaurant and bar of the Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong; and an all-day-dining restaurant. Meeting spaces will include a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, and seven additional meeting rooms, totaling nearly 18,500 square feet of space. The hotel also will be equipped with an indoor swimming pool and luxury fitness and spa facilities.
