Los Angeles’ third Ritz-Carlton hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles at L.A. Live, has announced an official opening date of February 15, 2010. The hotel, which will be the first luxury hotel in downtown Los Angeles, will be part of L.A. Live, the sports and entertainment complex that’s currently under construction in the city’s revitalized downtown.
Adjacent to the Staples Center, the Nokia Theatre, and the Grammy Museum, it will have 224 private condominiums atop a hotel with 123 guestrooms, an 8,000-square-foot spa, a 3,400-square-foot club lounge, a rooftop pool and terrace, and over 77,000 square feet of meeting space, including three ballrooms.
"The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles will be a great addition to the city’s downtown," Ritz-Carlton president and COO Simon F. Cooper said in a statement this summer. "We are pleased to be part of a project which will offer such a strategic and convention location for both guests and residents."
