Ritz-Carlton has signed agreement to develop two new hotels in Japan. Opening in April 2012, the Ritz-Carlton, Okinawa, will replace the existing Kise Bettei Hotel following a comprehensive transformation. ILYA Corporation has been commissioned to design the 97-room hotel, which will combine the brand’s style with the local culture. Amenities will include three dining venues, a lounge and bar, spa, pool, and gym.
Meanwhile, the Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto-located on the Kamogawa River-will offer 136 luxurious, spacious guestrooms; two dining options; banquet and meeting rooms; and a spa.
