The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is set to reveal a new hotel in Tianjin, China, in mid-2013. Tianjin Academy of Urban Planning and Design designed the grand neo-classical building, which is reflective of the 19th- and 20th-century European-style structures surrounding it. Interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon also take cues from the cultural European history of the city.
The 277-room hotel features a variety of F&B options, including an elegant Cantonese restaurant with 10 private dining rooms, each featuring its own private wine cellar; Flair Bar and Lounge; the Lobby Lounge; and an all-day-dining restaurant with live cooking stations. In addition, the Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge will have a warm designer urban apartment atmosphere with elements such as a grand fireplace room, library, separate game and entertainment areas, a boutique bar, and residential kitchen styling.
Other amenities will include more than 17,000 square meters of function space, fitness and spa facilities, and an indoor pool.
