Hotel chain Riu has purchased a plot of land next to Times Square for its entry into New York. The 5-Star Riu Plaza New York Times Square calls for 600 guestrooms, including special accommodations for families and a Crown Level featuring executive guestrooms and lounge. Slated to open in mid-2012, the hotel also will offer a restaurant, bar, café, and gym.
