The Riu Palace Bavaro, located within the RIU Punta Cana complex in the Dominican Republic, is on track to open in December. The 610-room resort, which also includes 12 luxury villas, features four specialty restaurants, a lobby bar with ice cream and pastries, and a 24-hour sports bar. At nearly 13,000 square feet, the conference center has four rooms that accommodate up to 1,000 people. Also on the docket are recreational amenities such as four pools and a spa with sauna, Jacuzzi, and gym.
