Abu Dhabi will welcome is newest luxury hotel with the debut of the distinctive Rocco Forte Abu Dhabi on November 7. Architectural firm WS Atkins and Partners designed the 11-story curved glass structure with green and blue glass panels that reflect the colors of the Arabian Sea. Inside, design work by Olga Polizzi and KCA International showcase contemporary European design complemented by modern Middle Eastern art and accessories.

The hotel’s 281 guestrooms and suites boast large curved glass windows, contemporary Arab artwork, and oversized marble and limestone bathrooms. F&B options are equally elegant. The Blue Bar is housed in the suspended sixth floor of the 11-story glass atrium. Other venues include the Martin Brudnizki-designed Oro Italian restaurant; Oceana Grill, a specialty seafood restaurant; Rouge, serving contemporary Japanese and Chinese cuisine; Brown’s Tea Lounge; and Latin-American-inspired bar Noche.

Meanwhile, a 6,562-square-foot spa offers separate male and female facilities, indoor pool, fitness facilities, wet and dry hammam, and a yoga/Pilates studio. Other amenities include a large outdoor pool with a bar and expansive terrace, a dedicated executive floor and lounge, seven meeting rooms, and a ballroom.
