The Rocco Forte Collection is making its Middle East debut this fall with the opening of a 281-key hotel in Abu Dhabi. Blending European and Middle Eastern styles, WS Atkins and Partners is handling the architecture of the 12-floor curved glass structure, while KCA International will work on the interiors under the guidance of Ola Polizzi, director of design for Rocco Forte.
Featuring a palette of green, yellow, and terracotta, the spacious guestrooms will be outfitted with large leather panels behind the headboards, curved sofas, workstations with leather chairs, and local artwork. Bathrooms will have walk-in showers, large bathtubs, and marble vanities. The two luxury presidential suites comprise two balconies, a dressing room with walk-in wardrobes, separate dining room, lounge, kitchen, study, and bar area.
F&B options include a Chinese and Japanese restaurant, an à la carte Italian outlet, tea and coffee lounge, Brazilian poolside bar and restaurant, and a sky bar that will be suspended of the fifth floor of the 10-story atrium. Also part of the hotel are swimming and cold plunge pools, a spa, fitness facilities, and expansive conference space.
