Rosewood Beijing is on track to open in summer 2013 as the brand’s inaugural hotel in China, designed by Bar Studio in Melbourne, Australia. Landscaped outdoor spaces featuring terraces, gardens, and balconies will be integrated into the design of restaurants, the spa, recreational facilities, and function areas. The 279 residential-style guestrooms, measuring 538 square feet, will feature window seats, spacious bathrooms, and natural finishes, all with Oriental undertones.

Guests also have access to seven restaurants and lounges, including a Chinese restaurant featuring nine spacious private dining suites that boast a separate lounge, cloak room, and outdoor terrace. Meanwhile, an exclusive lounge will offer an open kitchen, free-standing bar, boardroom, and terrace.

Additional amenities include the Rosewood Sense spa, which will have five spa suites designed for overnight stays, as well as 33,000 square feet of function space.
