Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is set to open Rosewood Sanya in open 2017. It is the second Rosewood property and first resort to be announced in Mainland China.////;.
Set on Haitang Bay in the southern Hainan Island, the property-which will be designed by Hong Kong-based AB Concept along with Chicago-based architectural firm Gottesch-will be created as a sanctuary within the integrated resort surrounding the International Finance Forum convention center. The hotel will occupy 14 floors of an oceanfront building and will house 229 guestrooms, all of which will face the ocean; one-third will include balcony plunge pools. Sixty-one residential villas will also be available.
Rosewood Sanya will boast an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, a poolside café, an indoor/outdoor market-style seafood restaurant, and a beachside restaurant and bar.
