Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has signed on to manage the historic Hotel Georgia in Vancouver. Toronto-based Munge Leung will lead the 1927 property’s transformation, slated for completion early next year. The hotel’s glamour and elegance serve as primary inspiration for the design. The lobby will host dark woods, rich gold, and deep red, while light blue, ivory, and tones of chocolate brown will define the 154 guestrooms. The second-floor ballroom will feature cornices and moldings re-created with modern materials. Amenities will include Sense, A Rosewood Spa; fitness center; indoor swimming pool; Hawksworth Restaurant; and a nightclub built on the rich history of the hotel.
