Royal Caribbean International‘s newest cruise ship, Allure of the Seas, hits the seas today from Turku, Finland, with arrival in Fort Lauderdale in 13 days. The 2,700-stateroom liner, divided into seven distinct themed areas, spans 16 decks and joins sister-ship Oasis of the Seas as the world’s largest cruise ship.
Allure offers 26 dining options, including the first Starbucks at sea; a new fine dining experience at 150 Central Park, created by the Culinary Institute of America alumna Molly Brandt; Samba Grill Brazilian steakhouse; Rita’s Cantina, a casual Mexican restaurant offering the widest selection of margaritas at sea; and the Boardwalk Dog House, an outdoor hot-dog specialty counter. Other features include a GUESS store, gallery from pop culture artist Romero Britto, guest service kiosks, spa, fitness center, pool and sports zone, and 3D movie screens.
