Ruthin Castle to Open Moat Spa

A new spa at Ruthin Castle in North Wales takes design cues from its rustic woodlands setting. Known as the Moat, the spa concept has indoor and outdoor components. Outside, guests can enjoy a Dutch hot tub, a cooling spring water shower fed by the Clwydian mountaintops, firepits, and cocoons hanging from the trees. The indoor portion of the spa features five treatment rooms, including a VIP couple’s room with copper bath and private steam room; hot tubs filled with spring water; a champagne nail bar; and relaxation room complete with king-size loungers; thermal rooms; and a mud bath.
