The Related Group and sbe are teaming up to open the SLS Brickell in Miami’s international business district in 2015, marking the first SLS Hotel and Residences.
Slated to break ground mid-2013, the hotel will include 133 hotel rooms and suites and 450 SLS-branded condos. Plus the complex will feature more than 15,000 square feet of meeting space, a spa, two pools, retail, and multiple F&B outlets. It is a collaboration between Sam Nazarian, sbe’s founder, chairman, and CEO, Related Group’s founder and chairman Jorge Perez, as well as longtime sbe partners designer Philippe Starck and chef José Andrés.


Designed by Philippe Starck, the hotel will reflect the local city life in its hotel rooms, common areas, and condos. Once complete, the SLS Brickell will house over 20,000 square feet of food and beverage outlets, spanning multiple restaurants, lounges, and pool bars.
