Fairmont Hotels and Resorts has unveiled the 154-key Fairmont Zimbali Resort, which joins the Fairmont Zimbali Lodge along South Africa’s eastern coast. The property’s trademark elements include spectacular ocean views, tasteful design, and a vast array of dining options. Guestrooms offer private verandas and luxurious soaking tubs, complemented by stone, wood, and other natural, indigenous materials. F&B outlets include a steakhouse, beach club, wine and tapas bar, pool and beachside cocktail bars, and a tea and coffee lounge.
Guests also have access to a ballroom that can accommodate 180 people; five outdoor swimming pools, including freshwater and saltwater pools overlooking the Indian Ocean; and the Willow Stream Spa, In addition, an 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player is under construction.
