Shangri-La Istanbul Slated for 2012 Debut

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is bringing its first hotel to Turkey with the 2012 debut of the Shangri-La Hotel, Istanbul, located within the Besiktas district, the city’s shopping and transport hub. The hotel’s 200 guestrooms, some of which will have private terraces, will reflect the Istanbul’s heritage while including the brand’s signature Asian design touches and modern travel technologies. The hotel will also offer several dining concepts and bars, including a rooftop restaurant with views of the city’s historic skyline and coastline. Additional amenities include a health club, spa, swimming pool, business center, ballroom, and conference and meeting room facilities.
