Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has signed agreements to manage two hotels in Qatar, both opening in 2013. The 5-Star Shangri-La Doha will feature 272 guestrooms and suites; a lobby lounge; the Den, a piano bar; Sridan, a Middle Eastern food souk; Latin America restaurant Fuego; Yabby, a seafood outlet; the Shanghai Club, a Chinese restaurant and lounge; a spa; function space; and a helipad.
Meanwhile, the Traders Hotel, Doha calls for 238 spacious guestrooms and suites, 84 serviced apartments, a sushi and noodle restaurant, steakhouse, deli, and a health club and spa with indoor pool.
