The Hotel Hershey has unveiled the Circular⎯⎯Milton S. Hershey ‘s flagship restaurant in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Formerly the Circular dining room, the restaurant retains its original 1933 aesthetic with a new design.
Minneapolis-based firm Shea, Inc. handled the revamp. Retaining its signature circular shape⎯⎯originally Hershey’s idea to eliminate obstructed views⎯⎯the restaurant focuses around a circular bar with an interactive pastry kitchen. The tiles around the bar mimic those found at the room’s entrance, and the original lampposts have been recreated and incorporated into the new decor.

A color scheme similar to the original echoes the stained glass windows overlooking the hotel’s formal gardens. All of the furniture, woodwork, lighting fixtures, sound system, and carpet in the Circular were made in the U.S. a nod to Hershey’s initiative of purchasing American-made products for his properties.
