The Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers has reopened following a $50 million renovation. First opening in 1978, the landmark property was the first Starwood hotel to open in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The transformation included all guestrooms, facilities, public spaces, and the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Vivaldi by Alfredo Russo. The fully refurbished rooms offer panoramic water and city views with a contemporary design and a warm palette, while Vivaldi boasts a terrace and a view of the city. Other food and beverage outlets include Ashiana and Creekside Japanese Restaurant.
“The renovation of Sheraton Dubai Creek demonstrates our commitment to making the Sheraton brand an unparalleled leader in the hospitality sector,” says Hoyt Harper, global brand leader for Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. “This is part of our continued global enhancement and multi-billion-dollar investment to strengthen the Sheraton brand.”
Starwood operates 14 hotels in Dubai, representing the largest concentration of Starwood hotels anywhere in the world except New York. The company has nearly 50 hotels across the Middle East, with a pipeline of over 35 scheduled to open over the next few years.
