Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced plans for Sheraton da Bahia Hotel in Salvador, Brazil. The existing Hotel da Bahia in Salvador is undergoing an extensive renovation to bring it to brand standards. Upon reopening in Q1 2013, the property will feature 284 guestrooms, including 16 suites; two restaurant; a spa with salon and sauna; pool; business center; and more than 27,000 square feet of meeting space.
