Sheraton New Orleans Hotel has begun a top-to-bottom $45 million renovation, slated for completion sometime next year. The revamped lobby will feature the Link@ Sheraton social hub, along with new seating, carpeting, lighting, and water feature. Reminiscent of a French Quarter courtyard, the redesigned Pelican Bar will boast new gas lamps, wall sconces, bar seating, communal and intimate seating, flooring, and tile mosaics lining the Canal Street windows.
Additionally, the hotel’s 1,100 guestrooms call for new furnishings, bedding, vanities, and backlit mirrors, along with collages of local artwork. Meanwhile, revamped suites boast Mississippi River views. Other changes at the property will include a remodeled club lounge, renovated fitness center, and upgraded function space.
