Starwood is reflagging a former Marriott hotel in Florida as the Sheraton Orlando Downtown. Owner Turnberry Associates is planning to keep the hotel open while performing renovations to bring the property to brand standards. Decorated in warm tones, the hotel’s 290 guestrooms will feature renovated bathrooms, an LCD flat panel television, MP3 docking station, oversized work desk, and comfortable seating. Sheraton Orlando Downtown’s other amenities include the Livingston Café, Spectators Bar and Grill, a club lounge, the brand’s fitness program, and 15,000 square feet of high-tech meeting space.
