Kimpton’s legendary Sir Francis Drake hotel in San Francisco is undergoing a revival that introduces a fresh, bold, and glamorous palette that complements the traditional elements and original Gothic Revival and Regency architecture of the property.
The hotel’s 417 guestrooms will feature new bedding, drapery, and casegoods. Details include elaborate headboards, high-quality artwork, bold carpet patterns, jewel-toned fabrics, and an oversized freestanding mirror. The bathrooms in all of the rooms have also been redesigned with granite and marble surfaces, reflecting a luxurious look and feel. In addition, Harry Denton’s Starlight Room, located on the 21st floor, will debut its fresh new look in late summer. Sir Francis Drake’s 16,000 square feet of meeting space was recently updated.
