Sofitel Essaouira Mogador Golf & Spa has debuted as the brand’s seventh hotel in Morocco. The 147 bedrooms and suites and 28 villas, two of which were designed by LACOSTE, feature clawed wood, dry stone, and Moroccan patterns. Situated in a dedicated health and fitness building is Sofitel So SPA, offering eight private treatment booths, a traditional Oriental steam bath with three basins, a wave pool, and a lounge area placed in front of an astonishing waterfall. Meanwhile, the So FIT fitness area provides a natural setting stretching out into the distance, as well as a Technogym.
F&B options include Atelier aux Aromes (Taste Workshop); Kasbah Café; the Atlantic; Tea Lounge; and Tiki So, a bar made using 50,000 pieces of glass. In addition, guests have access to the 36-hole Mogador golf course designed by golfer Gary Player.
