Occupying a 62-story mixed-use tower, the Sofitel Dongguan Humen Oriental has opened as the brand’s 23rd hotel in greater China. Hong Kong firm Cheng Chung Design conceptualized the 409 spacious guestrooms and suites, which are outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, free-standing bathtubs, and separate rain showers. F&B concepts include the Polaris Lounge, tea and coffee lounge, poolside bar, Cantonese and Japanese restaurants, and Western-style dining with a view on the 61st floor. Other amenities include 28,000 square feet of function space, a poolside fitness center, an indoor swimming pool situated within a glass house, and outdoor Jacuzzi.
