Spanish hotelier Sol Melia will open its first hotel in Tanzania in August with Melia Zanzibar. Formerly operated by Kimpinski, the 107-key property includes seven villas with their own private pool, solarium, kitchen, and butler service. Amenities include a spa, beauty and fitness center, tennis courts, outdoor pools, two restaurants, three bars, meeting venues, and a beach club.
