Spanish hotel chain Sol Melia is making its U.S. debut with Melia Atlanta, a conversion of the Marriott Renaissance Atlanta Hotel Downtown. The hotel will become a Melia on October 15, followed by a $35 million renovation scheduled for completion in 2013. The revitalization project will include a fourth-floor floor pool deck and fitness center, as well as the brand’s signature F&B concepts.
