Tropicana Las Vegas Hotel Resort and Casino will unveil the first phase of its $180 million transformation in May. The makeover seeks to capture the cultural panache and sensual pulse of Miami’s famed South Beach neighborhood. To that end, the new guestrooms and suites are infused with warm tones that evoke the casual elegance of a breezy beach getaway, with bright natural light and organic materials. Accommodations feature custom-designed furnishings, plantation shutters, a sleek chaise, Euro Top Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress, and original artwork from acclaimed Latin artists.
Meanwhile, the new European-style Café Nikki-part of the forthcoming Nikki Beach nightclub/beach club-is set in a lush garden overlooking waterfalls with a sprawling outdoor deck. Other options include the already open Biscayne Steak, Sea & Wine, as well as South Beach Marketplace, coming soon.
Tropicana’s renovations also call for significant upgrades to the fitness center, a new spa with a relaxation lounge, and a redesigned façade.
