The hotel at Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs, California, will embark on a $2.1 million renovation of guestrooms, corridors, and the lobby starting in July. The project architect is Craig Pearson with interior design by Alysha Robb, both of Pearson Architects in Palm Desert.
Guestrooms will employ natural earthy tones to complement not only the hotel’s architecture but also the surrounding desert and mountains. Changes include a host of new amenities, including mattresses, bedding, flatscreen TVs, carpeting, bedside tables topped with granite, drapery, chairs, and ottomans. Accommodations will also boast refurbished headboards, reupholstered benches, and refinished credenzas.
Occurring in phases, the project is expected to wrap up by the end of October.
