Sparkling Hill Resort and Wellness Hotel in Vernon, British Columbia, is celebrating its brilliant debut, thanks to the 1.9 million Swarovski crystals adorning the property. The destination, conceived by Gernot Langes-Swarovski and designed by Swarovski architect Andreas Altmayer, shines with an expansive yet welcoming atrium and crystal elements in the chandeliers, walls, fireplaces, guestroom cabinetry, ceilings over tubs (along with the tubs themselves), and stair handrails. Meanwhile, the KurSpa offers 100 treatments-including North America’s first cold sauna at -166 degrees-across 48 rooms. SSDG Interiors Inc. handled the resort’s interior design.
