St. Martins Spa & Lodge has made its debut near the Neusiedler See National Park in Austria. Situated on an idyllic lake, the retreat integrates environmental elements such as reeds, wood, gravel, and seawater into its design, courtesy of architectural firm Holzbauer and Partner. In the lobby and on lake terraces, guests can warm by a fire, while regional fare and 60 local wines are available in the Gourmet Restaurant and Winebar. The spa offers five different saunas and steam baths, swimming pools, and open-air treatment spaces in the warmer months. In addition, the lodge and spa, owned by health care services company VAMED, employs professional biologists, geologists, and other naturalists to take visitors on explorations of the surrounding landscapes.
