St. Regis Shenzhen has opened its doors as the brand’s tallest hotel. Designed by architect Sir Terry Farrell, the luxury property occupies the top 28 floors of a 100-story building. The spacious 297 guestrooms and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as iPad2 remote controls to manage amenities. The hotel also is home to a variety of F&B outlets, including the 96th-floor St Regis Bar and Drawing Room, which brings back the hotel’s glamour from the early 20th century; all-day-dining at Social on the 95th floor; Elba, focusing on Mediterranean dining on the 99th floor; sky-high wine bar Decanter on the top floor; and Malt and Library, a penthouse-level whiskey and cigar bar. Other amenities include Iridium Spa, an indoor infinity pool, and more than 22,600 square feet of meeting space.
