St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort & Residences has opened its doors in Southern Florida. In its design, Yabu Pushelberg incorporated a light, fresh palette along with rich textures and fine materials that recall Old World splendor, including one-of-a-kind West African Movinque wood and Chinese God Flower Stone marble commissioned exclusively for the resort from a private quarry. The Grand Hallway is flanked with double-story faceted mirror screens, setting the stage for a mirrored bar and lounge, jewel-box wine room, tailored reception area, and a sunlit restaurant lined with gold mirror and etched plaster walls. The resort’s 243 guestrooms boast balconies and oceanfront views, while in the 245 private residences, elegant marble baths and kitchens with European-style cabinetry contribute to an opulent yet refined look.

For dining, guests can choose from J&G Grill (from chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten), which houses a 2,500-bottle wine vault; oceanfront grill Fresco; and Atlantico, an all-day-dining restaurant. Other amenities at the resort include a private beach and pools with exclusive cabanas, as well as Remede Spa, offering 12 treatment rooms, a full-service salon, men’s and women’s lounges, sauna and steam rooms, and a high-tech fitness center.
