The St. Regis Tianjin has made a notable debut in Northern China. Constructed in the shape of a hollowed cube, the 18-story steel and glass hotel-designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill-appears to rise from the river. In the hotel’s 274 guestrooms and suites, KCA International created an atmosphere of elegance by integrating a contemporary Western aesthetic and ancient Chinese influences. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the Hai River and downtown Tianjin, while bathrooms boast luxurious rainforest showers.

The hotel houses a number of F&B options: Riviera Restaurant, which offers the ambiance of a Parisian brasserie; casual venue Promenade; Yan Ting, a modern Chinese restaurant with 11 private dining rooms; wine bar Decanter; and the St. Regis Bar, set in masculine yet cosmopolitan surroundings. In addition, guests have access to 29,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom and rooftop garden.
