St. Regis Deer Crest Resort in Utah’s Deer Valley community has opened its doors as the brand’s newest ski destination. Spanning 12 acres, the property includes 26 residences, 181 guestrooms and suites, Jean-Georges restaurant, Remède Spa, North America’s only hotel funicular (cable railway), a European-style ski beach, fitness center, and more than 14,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
Upon arrival at the St. Regis Snow Park Building at the base of Deer Valley Resort, guests and residents are transported 230 vertical feet via a luxurious Swiss-crafted dual-car funicular featuring leather seating, climate control, and oversized windows offering mountain views. Taking only 90 seconds, the railway welcomes guests and residents directly into the resort’s main building.
For the interiors, Lynda Snyder Associates captured the resort’s majestic natural surroundings, reflected through the use of natural stone, wood, and metal. Accommodations feature handcrafted furniture set against a palette of rich reds, browns, and earth tones. Suites are outfitted with fireplaces, high-end kitchens, and living areas boasting custom furniture, flooring, and finishes.
F&B venues include J&G Grill, the resort’s signature Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant, as well as the St. Regis Wine Vault, home to 6,000 bottles. Inspired by the Wasatch Mountain, Remède Spa incorporates the soothing sounds of water flowing from the outdoor water fall structure.
