Starwood has announced plans for the St. Regis Amman in Jordan. Designed by Perkins Eastman, the luxury hotel will have 270 guestrooms (including 91 suites), four restaurants, a café, destination bar, pool and pool bar, fitness center, signature spa, a business center, and 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Plans also call for 80 St. Regis-branded residences with a dedicated lobby, pool, fitness center, and lounge. The hotel is slated to open in 2014.
Starwood has also announced plans for additional hotels in the Middle East, including the Sheraton Sharjah and three hotels in Muscat, Oman, under the W, Westin, and Element brands, all of which are scheduled to debut in 2013.
