Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has slated a new-build St. Regis hotel for Kazakhstan, the first for the brand in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The St. Regis Astana will offer 120 guestrooms, including 19 suites. Its opening will coincide with the country’s hosting of Expo 2017.
Among the F&B options are all-day-dining and specialty restaurants, the signature St. Regis Bar & Wine Vault, a cognac bar, and a library. Event space will encompass a grand ballroom and five meeting rooms. A spa, pool, fitness room, children’s club, and business center round out the amenities. The project also will include 50 residences.
