Starwood Hotels & Resorts enters the all-inclusive resort market with the debut of Westin Resort & Spa, Playa Conchal in Costa Rica. Formerly known as Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort, the property will begin renovation of its 406 spacious suites and all public areas, which will be conducted in phases through December 2011. The Westin also marks Starwood’s return to the country after 20 years.
Centered around an expansive, lagoon-style pool, the resort features a spa, beautiful gardens, thatch-roofed bungalows, several restaurants, and outdoor recreation.
