Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide has debuted the Aloft brand in Tucson, Arizona with Aloft Tucson University Hotel. Formerly a Four Points by Sheraton property, the hotel will cater to next-generation travelers.
The 154-room hotel features loft-like rooms in a social atmosphere, as well as 1,723 square feet of meeting space. Sleek lines and contemporary furnishings completes the urban appeal.
“We are thrilled to debut the Aloft brand in Tucsona vibrant city for both students and young professionals who appreciate the Aloft brand’s style aesthetic and buzzing social scene,” says Brian McGuinness, senior vice president, specialty select brands for Starwood. “Conversion projects like this one are becoming an increasingly important growth channel for the Aloft brand, allowing us to enter even more markets, more quickly as we move closer to the 75th hotel milestone.”
Aloft Tucson University is one of several successful Aloft conversion projects⎯⎯including the Aloft San Francisco Airport, Aloft Nashville West End, and the Aloft Dallas Downtown, a former historic railroad depot.
