After extensive renovations, the Resort at Marina Village, located in Southwest Florida’s Cape Coral community, has been converted to the Westin Resort at Tarpon Point Marina, with plans to open in late 2012. The hotel-Starwood’s first full-service property in the region-has begun its conversion into a sensory-rich resort complete with amenities like a spa, workout facility, lagoon-style pool, clay tennis courts, and a full-service marina.
Guests can recharge in one of 262 oversized guestrooms and suites, each with signature Westin Heavenly Beds and in-room spa-like amenities. To play up the restorative theme, the hotel will feature Westin’s nutrient-rich SuperFoodsRX menu, along with a variety of F&B options ranging from casual al fresco dining at the Nauti Mermaid Dockside Bar and Grill to upscale seafood offerings at Marker92. The hotel also offers 16,000 square feet of function space.
