Starwood’s Luxury Collection has opened its second resort in Peru, Tambo del Inka, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Miami-based Arquitectonica spearheaded the resort’s architectural concept to create an overall design that blends seamlessly with the hotel’s location, along with the local culture.
Featuring indigenous design touches, the property’s 128 guestrooms and suites offer views of the Andes and Vilcanota River through floor-to-ceiling windows. Meanwhile, the Spa at Valle Sagrado includes 12 treatment rooms, two swimming pools, sauna, steam bath, and fitness facilities. In addition, a private train station leads guest to Machu Picchu.
