In celebration of its 180th anniversary, the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento, Italy has unveiled its Lucio Dalla suite.
Designed by Italian designer Stefano Colombo with architecture completed by Raffaele Antonucci, the suite honors Italian songwriter Lucio Dalla, who stayed at the hotel for some time in 1986, writing famed song “Caruso,” while staying in the Caruso suite. This suite now incorporates famous tenor Enrico Caruso’s original piano from the 1920s.

The Lucio Dalla suite is located on the 5th floor of the Rivale building and overlooks the Gulf of Naples. Its design was strongly influenced by music and boasts a piano on the terrace, framed autographed records, and a variety of Lucio Dalla memorabilia.
