The Cornell School of Hotel Administration (SHA) has named two scholarship awards in honor of Deborah Herman-Fabric Innovations‘ president and owner. 

Stemming from Herman’s donations and her roles as a school mentor and guest lecturer, the Deborah Herman Scholarship and Fabric Innovations Scholarship will award $10,000 to two extraordinary students. The recipients must be currently enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration and meet the financial qualifications to receive financial aid.
“I am beyond humbled that Cornell University has recognized my passion in mentoring the young professionals who are about to enter this wonderful industry, by dedicating scholarships in my name,” says Herman. “These students are very much deserving of the resources to further their career and dreams in making a significant impact on this important, growing industry. I could not be more proud.”
In addition to operating Fabric Innovations, Herman serves as the international ambassador for NEWH and has dedicated over 20 years to help promote and mentor young women in the hospitality industry.
