The Gettys Group has appointed two new directors to its North American team: Lorraine Knapp Masch and Malia Snyder Hoffman. Masch will oversee Gettys’ Miami office, while Hoffman will join the Brand Design Group in Chicago.

With more than 20 years of design experience, Masch has worked on projects such as Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain, Emeril’s Tchoup Chop, Sheraton Lincoln Harbor, New Yorker Hotel, Mohegan Sun Casino, and Grand Central Terminal’s Dining Concourse. Masch holds degrees from Parsons the New School for Design and State University of New York at Binghamton. 

Most recently, Masch was senior design manager at Starbucks, Southeast, and prior to that she was with Stonehill & Taylor and the Rockwell Group in New York City. Masch will be charged with growing Gettys’ restaurant and retail business, while managing the Miami design studio.
Hoffman brings more than 25 years of branding, graphic design, creative direction, and client management experience to her role as director of the Gettys’ brand design team. For the past nine years, Hoffman ran her own design firm serving corporations, independent companies, and individual clients in Hong Kong. She has worked with consumer brands including Eddie Bauer, Levi Strauss & Co., Target, and Nordstrom, along with W hotels. Hoffman holds a bachelors of arts in textile and graphic design from the University of Washington. She will work closely with principal Ron Swidler to grow the company’s brand design group.
