The Gettys Group has moved its corporate headquarters and has acquired an office at 55 W. Wacker Dr. in Chicago. Phil Palmer, a principal with Avison Young, represented Gettys in the transaction.
The Gettys Group purchased a 14,250-square-foot office in the 15-story, 209,000-square-foot building in Chicago’s central business district. The firm relocated and expanded mid-February from 1 E. Erie St. in Chicago.
“As an internationally recognized hospitality designer, it is important for us to establish our presence in a space that typifies the type of work we do and also enhances our ability to do that work,” says Andrew Fay, president and COO of The Gettys Group. “Our new location accomplishes that for us.”
The new space features better video conferencing capabilities and improved technologies to make it easier for The Gettys Group to collaborate with its worldwide clients.
“Gettys selection of 55 W. Wacker is important because it establishes the firm’s presence in an ideal location,” Palmer adds. “It also creates an opportunity to create value for stockholders and showcase their outstanding work.”
