The JW Marriott Marquis Miami will be home to a 50,000-square-foot sports, lifestyle, and entertainment complex when the hotel opens in October. The two-story facility will feature a 10,000-square-foot NBA-approved basketball arena, full-size tennis court, Jim McLean Golf School, Rik Rak Spa & Salon, virtual bowling alley, billiard room, and Met 2 Fitness. Guests will also have access to a high-tech 3-D media room and a furnished pool deck that touts a heated stainless steel pool and whirlpool.
“The multiplex entertainment facility spans the hotel’s 19th and 20th floors and was created as part of our mission to cater to the individual preferences of each guest,” says Florencia Tabeni, the hotel’s general manager. “As a first-to-market brand, and the most exclusive of its kind, the JW Marriott Marquis Miami is able to further our guests’ expectations of what a world-class hotel should offer.”
