On January 1st, 2014, Rocky Marzzarella will officially succeed Tom Gaffney as the new director of operations for the John Hardy Group (JHG).
Having worked his way up the ranks of JHG for the past 16 years, and a total of 35 years working in the development and construction management business, Marzzarella is already well-regarded in the industry. He has also been involved in managing more than 100 major hotels, resorts, and convention centers. During his tenure, Marzzarella’s projects ranged from development, redevelopment, and/or construction of hotel projects to performing due diligence reviews, providing advisory services, and owners representation services.
Gaffney will retire to a part-time position at JHG, after managing an operation spread out over North America, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. He will continue to maintain key assignments for JHG and fill a senior advisory role for the company.
