The Light Group is unveiling its two new venues at Aria Resort & Casino at City Center in Las Vegas. HAZE Nightclub features interiors designed to challenge guests’ sense of perception and reality. The space integrates a cutting-edge sound system, 20-foot-tall walls of flickering lights, interactive projection screens that navigate the space on five moving trusses, uneven surfaces, and hanging props inspired by puppetry.
Guests descend into the nightclub from the conjoining hotel lobby underneath a cantilevered red canopy. In the entryway, a series of rusted, steel-slanted walls are asymmetrically placed to create an aesthetic of a sculptural house of cards. The vibrant carpet leads guests to the heart of the theatrical space via a moat-crossing bridge. From the main dance floor, VIPs ascend a grand staircase to the mezzanine-level VIP room, where jewel-like furniture is scattered loosely like props on a stage.
Meanwhile, Chef Brian Massie brings contemporary-American fare to UNION Restaurant & Lounge, which Lounge features nearly 6,000 square feet of arching wooden columns, paneled ceilings, and serene color palette, courtesy of designer Adam D. Tihany.
