Kennebunkport Resort Collection (KRC) plans to open the Lodge on the Cove on June 15. Following refurbishments, the lodge will open as a family-friendly but eclectic resort in Kennebunkport, Maine.

The 30-room motor lodge offers four design inspirations for the 300-square-foot rooms. Bold jewel-toned rooms feature turquoise, lime green, and magenta hues paired with chevron patterned wall treatments, while organically designed rooms are dressed in a neutral palette and natural materials. Sunset-inspired rooms fittingly mix orange and red accents with gray and white tones, and the nautical rooms will boast sea-inspired décor with a soothing palette.
A nautical theme is what unifies the buildings. Shaped as an octagon, the main lobby will be surrounded by bleached beach wood and exposed rock walls, while a large fireplace will serve as the focal point. And rustic rope furniture and accessories throughout will pair with abstract and landscape paintings by local artist Dave Allen.
