The Montcalm, a Nikko Hotel, has reopened in London following a year-long transformation. Architectural firm the Manser Practice created an elegant, contemporary design while preserving the building’s heritage, including its Georgian-style exterior that dates back to 1789.
The hotel’s 153 guestrooms include seven types of luxury suites, including special Spa Suites offering individually tailored spa treatments and Ladies First rooms catering to female travelers’ comfort and needs. Meanwhile, the 1,658-square-foot Imperial suites offer views overlooking London, two sitting rooms with dining facilities, bespoke artwork, and four double bedrooms and Jacuzzi spa baths. The boutique hotel also offers a restaurant, bar, and wellness center.
